This Privacy Policy describes how Barrowman Enterprises ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use Corner Office (the "App"), a mobile game available on Google Play.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you sign in with Google to enable cloud saves and leaderboards, we receive:

• Your Google account email address
• Your display name (if available)
• A unique user identifier

Sign-in is optional. You can use the App without signing in, but cloud saves, leaderboards, and the multiplayer stock market will not be available.

1.2 Game Data

If you sign in, we store your game progress on our servers to enable cloud saves. This includes:

• In-game currency balances and lifetime statistics
• Business ownership, levels, and upgrade states
• Investment portfolio data (stocks, real estate, contracts)
• Loan balances and repayment history
• Prestige progress and cosmetic purchases
• Gameplay preferences (audio settings, notification preferences)

1.3 Leaderboard Data

If you participate in leaderboards, we collect and publicly display:

• Your chosen player name (defaults to "Anonymous")
• Game scores (lifetime earnings, empire score, fastest IPO time)
• Prestige count

Other players can see your player name and scores on leaderboards.

1.4 Multiplayer Stock Market

When signed in, you participate in a shared stock market with other players. Your stock trades affect global prices visible to all players. No personally identifiable information is shared with other players through this feature.

1.5 Purchase Information

In-app purchases are processed entirely by Google Play. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment methods, billing address, or financial information. We only receive confirmation that a purchase was completed and credit the corresponding in-game items.

1.6 Advertising Data

The App displays optional rewarded advertisements provided by Google AdMob. When you choose to watch an ad, Google may collect:

• Device identifiers (Android Advertising ID)
• Device information (model, operating system version)
• IP address
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)

All ads in the App are opt-in. You are never forced to watch an advertisement. For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and UK, we display a consent form before serving personalized ads, in compliance with GDPR.

1.7 Local Data

The App stores game save data locally on your device using AES-256-GCM encryption with keys managed by the Android Keystore. Authentication tokens for cloud services are stored in the app's private storage area.

• Local saves are encrypted using AES-256-GCM with hardware-backed keys from the Android Keystore. Data integrity is verified with HMAC-SHA256.
• Cloud data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS encryption in transit) and stored in Supabase's managed PostgreSQL database with row-level security policies.
• Authentication tokens are stored in the app's private storage, accessible only to the App.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

• Game saves are retained as long as your account exists.
• Leaderboard entries are retained indefinitely to maintain historical rankings.
• Local data is retained until you uninstall the App or clear its data.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Withdraw consent for personalized advertising at any time
• Opt out of cloud services by not signing in with Google
• Opt out of notifications by disabling them in the App settings

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

8. Advertising Choices

• All advertisements in the App are opt-in rewarded ads. You choose whether to watch them.
• Users in the EEA/UK will be shown a consent form to choose between personalized and non-personalized ads.
• You can reset your Android Advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization in your device settings under Settings > Google > Ads.

9. Notifications

The App may send local push notifications to remind you to check on your in-game businesses. These notifications are:

• Scheduled locally on your device (no data is sent to any server)
• Controlled by a toggle in the App's settings menu
• Subject to the system notification permission on Android 13+

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
